2012-13 W. LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Awards
The W. LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Awards are designed to recognize those at Penn State who make extraordinary contributions to the advancement of the international mission of the University. This year's Selection Committee is chaired by Judith Kroll, Distinguished Professor of Psychology, Linguistics, and Women's Studies in the College of the Liberal Arts, and Kopp Faculty Award winner in 2008-09.
Four awards are given annually in the categories of undergraduate student, graduate student, staff member, and faculty member. Criteria for the awards include leadership and support for international education, service to the international community, and research with a significant international component. Each award carries a $1,000 cash award and a plaque. Nominees/applicants must be full-time faculty, staff, and students at Penn State University.
The awards are presented at the University Awards Convocations in the spring.

Nomination/Application Deadline
Whenever possible, nominations should be submitted electronically to jah3@psu.edu. All nomination/application materials must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012, and should be addressed to Selection Committee Chair Judith Kroll c/o Janet Haner, 410 Boucke Building. When submitting a hard copy, please do not bind applications or submit in a notebook.
