International Education Week

International Education Week 2010:
Celebrating 100 Years of Internationalization

This November 15-19, 2010, The Pennsylvania State University will celebrate International Education Week by commemorating 100 years of internationalization. In 1910, students founded Penn State’s Cosmopolitan Club to “cultivate social intercourse between students of different nationalities and thereby foster the spirit of universal brotherhood.” Today, the essence of this organization lives on in the University’s many nationality clubs, education abroad opportunities, international service learning efforts, and cultural celebrations that promote global citizenship.

The Pennsylvania State University will celebrate this year’s International Education Week with a full schedule of events. The full list is below and an easy-to-print
11" x 17” PDF version of the events list is available here.
