Workshops and Training
F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT)
OPT is generally for those students who are completing their programs of study or those students who have completed all program requirements except thesis. You might find it helpful to read the complete OPT information. Applications with USCIS can sometimes take up to 3 months to process, so if you have a job starting right after this semester, you may want to apply as soon as possible. You can (and should if you are certain you are completing your program) apply now!
